The Bicitaxi (literally, bike-taxi) is a common means of personal transportation for Havaneros. With a capacity for two persons, these comfortable, fast and exclusive person-powered vehicles roll through the center of Havana and Havana Vieja, into and through the narrow streets that cars cannot access. Bicitaxis are often festively decorated and carry impressive sound systems that play recorded music or the radio.

A tour of the city in a bicitaxi will bring you to the real vibe and spirit of the city. The 'Bicitaxeros' (Bicitaxi drivers) say those “who did not ride in a Bicitaxi have missed a piece of Cuban Havana culture.”
